Focus 2024
Since the last festival, we have mapped our waste streams and described our waste profile.
In the Riverboat Jazz Festival, we have chosen to keep plastic cups and plastic wine glasses until, in collaboration with the brewery, we have found another solution - the right sustainable solution for our festival.
The sustainable solution that also takes into account our logistics, resources and finances.
Inspired by Kingo Recycling and in collaboration with Marius Pedersen A/S, in 2024 we will focus on collecting plastic throughout 2024.
We divide the collection of plastic into 3 steps
- Collection and sorting by our volunteers
- Sorting by our audience in the tents
- Sorting by our audience outside the tents
All 3 steps are supported by new specific collection options, which we look forward to implementing
Collecting and sorting metal and paper is made possible in and around bars and tents.
