Riverboat is getting a visit from a very special orchestra that plays old-fashioned swing jazz from the Golden Age period 1924-1933, when swing music flourished and had its heyday. They play on instruments from that era, and both the clothing style, the music, the melodies, and the performance are as close to the original as possible. It’s classic jazz at its very best. An orchestra that has performed at a long list of jazz festivals all over Europe, but now for the first time in Denmark, and of course at Riverboat in Silkeborg.
