Kristian Jørgensen and Jacob Fischer have played together since they met each other for the first time in 1987 as 20-year-olds. It didn't take long before reviewers and the audience discovered that there was something special going on between the two masters of violin and guitar respectively. During the 80's and 90's they both received the jazz awards "Søren's Money", "Ben Webster Award" and "JASA (jazz reviewers) award". Since then they have played with everything and everyone on the Danish jazz scene, where Kristian has particularly made a name for himself with the Tango orchestra and Jacob Fischer with, among others, Svend Asmussen.

Their telepathic and thoroughly musical playing can be heard on several CDs, in duo, trio, quartet and quintet form (among other things with the pianist Monty Alexander) and in Silkeborg we can look forward to hearing them with two of the best rhythm people on the jazz scene, bassist Matthias Petri and drummer Morten Ærø.
