Det ungarske Bohém Ragtime Jazz Band, stiftet i 1985, er et af Europas førende traditionelle jazzorkestre. De har vundet priser for deres musik både i hjemlandet, og i Holland. Orkestret har optrådt på flere store jazzfestivaler rundt om i verden, som Montreux, Pori, Sacramento, Breda, Ascona, Oslo, Dresden, Berlin blot for at nævne nogle. Og så selvfølgelig Riverboat Jazz Festival, som de nu vender tilbage til!
Orkestrets stil og repertoire spænder bredt fra Dixieland, New Orleans, tidlig swing og fortæller jazzmusikkens historie over flere årtier.

The Hungarian Bohém Ragtime Jazz Band, founded in 1985, is one of Europe's leading traditional jazz orchestras. They have won awards for their music both in their home country and in the Netherlands. The orchestra has performed at several major jazz festivals around the world, such as Montreux, Pori, Sacramento, Breda, Ascona, Oslo, Dresden, Berlin, just to name a few. And of course the Riverboat Jazz Festival, which they are now returning to!
The orchestra's style and repertoire spans a wide range from Dixieland, New Orleans, early swing and tells the story of jazz music over several decades.

Die 1985 gegründete ungarische Bohém Ragtime Jazz Band ist eines der führenden traditionellen Jazzorchester Europas. Für ihre Musik haben sie sowohl in ihrem Heimatland als auch in den Niederlanden Preise gewonnen. Das Orchester ist auf mehreren großen Jazzfestivals auf der ganzen Welt aufgetreten, darunter Montreux, Pori, Sacramento, Breda, Ascona, Oslo, Dresden und Berlin, um nur einige zu nennen. Und dann natürlich das Riverboat Jazz Festival, zu dem sie jetzt zurückkehren!
Der Stil und das Repertoire des Orchesters reichen von Dixieland über New Orleans bis zum frühen Swing und erzählen die Geschichte der Jazzmusik über mehrere Jahrzehnte.
