RED HOT FOUR+1, who have played a large number of church concerts, have invited Mads Mathias as a guest soloist on the occasion of Riverboat. The program is a mixture of old spirituals, English and American psalms (hymns) and well-known gospel tunes, which the team here plays in its very own way. It is a concert where both the sensitive and fine nuances merge into a higher unity with captivating rhythms and become swinging New Orleans jazz at its best. A concert where the main element is commitment, joy of playing and real New Orleans jazz supported by an ecclesiastical content. It all ties together with the presentation of the tracks.
