Riverboat is visited by a very special orchestra that plays old-fashioned swing jazz from the Golden Age period 1924-1933, when swing music blossomed and had its heyday. They play on instruments belonging to that period, and both the clothing style, music, melodies, and performance are as close to the original as possible. It is classic jazz at its very best. The orchestra has played at a wide range of jazz festivals across Europe, but now for the first time in Denmark, and of course at Riverboat in Silkeborg.
