“Gangster Jazz” - music with nerve, intensity and grooves that go straight to your head. Akrobat is a new Aarhus-based project that draws on, among other things, hip-hop, jazz and neo-soul. Edge and attitude are the band's trademarks, creating the expression that the five band members call “Gangster Jazz”. The music strives for a seriousness that never fears being light and playful. The very word ‘Akrobat’ is the project's guiding principle, when the songs jump between musical concepts in an attempt to create an infectious driving force with crisp melodies and hard grooves.
