The Jutlandia New Orleans Quartet plays in the original New Orleans style. The simple and harmonious character of the music, the strongly swinging rhythm section and the – predominantly – collective improvisation are typical of the original New Orleans jazz, just as the repertoire adheres stylistically to the genre. Jutlandia's musicians are New Orleans enthusiasts who, since their youth in the sixties and seventies, have played with everyone in Denmark and abroad who mastered the genre.
