Mama Shakers is a young band that plays blues, jazz and swing from the 1920s to the 1930s in an exuberant and entertaining way with party and polyphonic singing. The band is inspired by the many American jug and washboard bands that gave it gas in the roaring twenties. The band was founded in 2016 by the Swedish-born trumpeter and washboard player Angela Strandberg, who now lives in Paris. The band, which is very popular, has given several concerts in France and toured many other European countries. A new exciting orchestra for the first time at the Riverboat Jazz Festival.
