Thanks to guitarist and singer Ole Frimer - and Charlie Tambaur, chairman and booker at the music association B`Sharp - it has been possible to bring the legendary blues quartet Blue Junction to the Riverboat Jazz Festival.

With the two very different guitarists - Uffe Steen and Ole Frimer - at the front, spine-tingling, glowing and sparkling guitar garlands abound. Uffe Steen is primarily Chicago blues-oriented, while Ole Frimer mostly leans towards Texas blues. However, the two guitarists complement each other perfectly, and their playing is characterized by an almost telepathic mutual understanding, which results in often incomprehensibly refined playing subtleties between them. If you add to that drummer Claus Daugaard's exact, but also balanced playing in combination with bassist Morten Brauner's rock-solid, solid musical discharges, you have an absolutely top-tuned rhythm group. Together, these four musicians form a completely tight-knit team.
